UCIP To Hold Refresher Programme Young Journalists In Bangalore

BANGALORE, Karnataka, MAY 07, 2008, 09.50 Hrs (SAR NEWS):

International Catholic Union of the Press (UCIP) is organising an International Refresher's Programme from May 7 to May 11 in Bangalore.

The programme is based on the theme 'Glitz, Glamour, Moral Decadence and the Media'.

Media experts, contemporary writers, playwrights, philosophers and reformists will be part of the resource team. Besides talks and study sessions, a study tour to Kolar Gold Field and Mysore will be undertaken.

Participants from Sri Lanka, Pakistan and other South Asian countries are expected to participate.

UCIP brings together journalists, publishers and professors of communication who work in all types of media. Members below 35 years of age constitute the International Network of Young Journalists.

UCIP is the world forum of professionals in secular and religious media. The head office is in Geneva, Switzerland.
