Fr Paul Kinatukara Breathes His Last On The Feast Of Conversion
Of St Paul

Senior
priest of the archdiocese of Bangalore, Rev Fr.Paul Kinatukara,
fondly remembered for appealing to the Vatican to elevate the
famous St. Mary's Church in Shivajinagar in Bangalore to a Basilica,
breathed his last at Philomena's Hospital in Bangalore on 25th
January.
The priest
who was loved by all and known for his simple life-style, died
on the feast of the Conversion of St. Paul, his patron saint.
The Archbishop, Bernard Moras expressed his sentiments of gratitude
to the priest who served the archdiocese for over 50 years."It
is a spiritual co-incidence that Fr. Paul returns to the Lord
on the feast of the Conversion of St. Paul".
Fr. Paul
retired from the archdiocese in 1998 due to health problems,
but continued to be a source of strength to the inmates of the
Home for the Aged run by the Little sisters of the poor on hosur
road in Bangalore. His funeral service scheduled for the 27th
January.
