The Archbishop, Bernard Moras expressed his sentiments of gratitude to the priest who served the archdiocese for over 50 years."It is a spiritual co-incidence that Fr. Paul returns to the Lord on the feast of the Conversion of St. Paul".

Fr. Paul retired from the archdiocese in 1998 due to health problems, but continued to be a source of strength to the inmates of the Home for the Aged run by the Little sisters of the poor on hosur road in Bangalore. His funeral service scheduled for the 27th January.
