Karnataka Region Gets New Pastoral Centre at Bangalore
BANGALORE,

A long standing
dream of KRCBC (Karnataka Regional Catholic Bishops’ Council)
fulfilled on Feb 9th. Archbishop Bernard Moras inaugurated and
blessed the Regional Pastoral Centre in the presence of many
Bishops.
In his presidential
address Archbishop Moras invited the region to witness Christ
by through love & service.

of Ooty, Bishop Thomas Vazhapilly of Mysore, Bishop Aloysius
Paul D’Souza of Mangalore, Bishop Henry D’Souza
of Bellary, Bishop Gerald Lobo Bishop of Shimoga, Bishop Antonyswamy
of Chickmangalur, Bishop Joseph of Bhadravathi, Bishop Peter
Machado of Belgaum, Fr. Becket D'Souza, former Director of KROSS,
Msgr. Jayanathan, Secretary of KRCBC, Rev. Fr Varghese Mattamana,
Director of Caritas India were present.
In his felicitation
speech Bishop Gerald Lobo Bishop of Shimoga lauded the efforts
of Archbishop Bernard Moras in erecting the new structure for
the pastoral centre.
Later Fr.
Becket D’Souza, Fr. Peter Brank Director of the KROSS,
Msgr. Siluvai Ignaci National Director of PMS, Fr. Varghese
Mattamana, Mr. Thomas Manager of South India Bank, Mr. Michael
Architect, Mr Joe and Mr. Arun Fernandes contractors were felicitated.
