Thank Woman Super Cop For Supporting Community
BELGAUM,
Karnataka, Aug. 30, 2010, 10:10 Hrs (SAR NEWS):
The Christian
community in Belgaum has lauded the services of super cop Sonia
Narang for her role in safeguarding the interests of the common
man, particularly the poor and the disadvantaged.
Narang,
who served as the superintendent of police, Belgaum, was felicitated
August 25, at a simple function held at the Bishop’s House
at Camp in the city. She was transferred recently to head a
traffic division in Bangalore.
“While
this may be good news for Bangaloreans, it is surely not welcome
news for us, especially as you were one of the district officials
who stood for values, principles and fairness. You reaching
out to the poor and the disadvantaged will surely be remembered,”
said Bishop Peter Machado of Belgaum.
“I
am particularly grateful to you for your consideration and courtesies
shown to the Christian community on various occasions and especially
in our difficulties and problems. We wish to place on record
our gratitude to you for your various interventions and good
deeds in Belgaum. May God bless you in your future assignment
and we pray for special blessing for your family. You will be
remembered and loved for long in Belgaum,” Bishop Machado
added.
